Polis Hammam – Polis Loutron, a leader in hammam and wellness experiences in Greece, announces the official launch of two new signature treatments, which for the first time bring to the country the spirituality and healing traditions of South Africa. The new services are already available at its locations in Athens, Piraeus, and Thessaloniki, and have been warmly embraced by the first visitors.

The treatments have been developed in collaboration with the internationally awarded Healing Earth, known for its ecological approach and the philosophy of its founder, Elisabeth Brandt, which combines nature, science, and ritual.

The new treatments combine hammam bathing, massage, facial and head care, and naturally high-quality organic products, following the traditions of South Africa.

Bano Blanco – Ancient African Spiritual Bath

This treatment includes both bath (hammam) and massage, offering a complete wellness ritual. It is a unique experience of purification and renewal for the body, face, and head, inspired by ancient African traditions.

Bano Blanco – “White Bath” makes use of herbs, plant distillates, and white earthly substances from the Kalahari Desert, providing energy, serenity, a sense of renewal, and spiritual awakening.

The experience concludes with the traditional African rhythmic Rungu massage.

Pinotage Grape Bano – The new revolutionary vinotherapy experience

A hammam treatment, massage, and intensive care for the face and scalp based on the special Pinotage grape variety of South Africa.

The high concentration of resveratrol offers antioxidant action, enhanced elasticity, and cellular regeneration for the skin, body, face, and head.

Polis Hammam – Polis Loutron has been awarded “Hammam of the Year 2025” at the Luxury Travel Guide Global Awards and is among the winners of the Sustainable Luxury Spa Awards 2025 for its Piraeus location. At the same time, it continues to remain at the top of TripAdvisor with the Traveler’s Choice Award.
